About Me

Currently

I'm a lead software engineer with over a decade of experience in the software industry and I currently work at Comity. My primary passion is building software, getting it in front of people, and seeing it work. I have an attention to detail that helps me with digging into issues and understanding how things function, as well as a preciseness that makes me great at fixing and documenting them. Developer experience and good testing standards are of particular importance to me. I am fascinated by programming languages and compilers, and I quite enjoy mathematics, logic, and philosophy.

History

Previously I have worked at Westbold, Varsity Tutors, and Amazon. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematical Sciences. In senior year of college I worked on a senior thesis with Karl Crary at Carnegie Mellon, specifically working on a methodology for verifying the correctness of a compiler phase by using a combined language, which you can read more about on the Projects page.
